Spock, a new people and information search engine

Spock.com is one of these kind of webapp who you never think in use, but if you need to found someone for some reason of course it helps to you to make the work in a few minutes, that’s the reason why Spock.com - A Great Place for Search.

First of all I need to define Spock.com like not a social network, although you can send emails or link to other familiar services like mySpace, Wikipedia, LinkedIn and many others. Spock.com is just a people and information search engine to put in contact you with others based in some relevant criteria search as name (Juan Fernando Pacheco) or some tags, used previously to define yourself or used by someone else to define to you or some others aspects about you (Blogger, Lawyer), your friends, job or something else and all of this info is for free, because Spock is a free service to use.

For example, if you need info about Steve jobs, here you can find some relevant info about him and some other people like Steve Wozniak or Bill Gates tagged as Co founder or Rival, some news from Google News and of course other sources of information as Wikipedia, Apple, LinkedIn and many others.

But if you need other kind of general info about a something specific theme like Brazilian Models, you just type that in Spock, and then it brings to you a lot of results based on that search criteria and of course all the respective information about everyone of them, in my personal case I search info about Gisele Bundchen.

Other of the good things about Spock.com is the capability to create your own network where you can add friends based from others networks like Yahoo, linkedIn or Microsoft Outlook, or just using the search engine by itself, it’s an important function specially if you likes the idea to share your info with your friends, family or everyone around the world.

Carlos Jumbo, a good friend of mine made a list of the twitters and the number of followers who has everyone on their respective contact list.

And my name appears in the first position with 287 followers at 26 December in the night, so it makes me the Ecuadorian twitter with more followers. The second place is occupied by Calu with 225 and in the third place AlmaPirata, of course it’s necessary to say, this is not a popularity list or something like that, because so much of the current twitter follower are just occasional readers of you, or your blog if you have one. So it number in any way represent the authority or importance of you or your blog, it is just a number of people who with relative frequency read something about you.

Today is X’mas time!

So many places around the world celebrate Christmas and for all of those people who take this time to join with their families and friends to celebrate this day, I would like to say Happy Christmas.

I was seeking a song to share with yours on this day and can´t find anything special but when I found this one in YouTube it brings to me a lot of things to my mind, so if you’re planning to give your heart in this day, please do it to someone special.

Low Cost Airlines to Spain and Europe.

This is an sponsored post, but as I wrote few weeks ago in Saturn Attacks, it comes just in time because time to time I think visit Ibiza, Spain in my vacations time, but until today it was impossible to do from Ecuador, my country because no one travel agency likes the idea to work in the objective of design a tourism plan to Ibiza. Of course the web site by itself offers much more to you, but the mainly attractive tools are that. So, during the next year when I will plane my next vacation trip of course I will use this interesting option.
